A Couple of New Ventures
Wednesday, October 03, 2007 I know it's been a while, but I hope some of you are still listening for a few announcements. 1) I am now the head tournament pro at stoxpoker.com, an online poker coaching site. Subscribers get to see annotated videos of me playing No Limit Hold 'Em tournaments. There are also forums where anyone can discuss or comment on those vidoes. If these things interest you, subscribe and be sure list your primary interest as Multi-table tournaments. Then they'll know I sent you. 2) Fellow poker player and friend Chris Fargis has launched a new site called InstantFantasySports. It's fantasy sports, sit-and-go style. You draft a team whenever you want, and then draft again if you think your first team stinks. If you like fantasy football, I definitely recommend checking it out. 3) In case any of you have been wondering all these months, my hand from the WSOP that I promised to reveal later was 87o. The WCOOP was mostly a bust for me, as I often got ahold of chips, but only managed to cash once. My next appearance at a major tournament will probably be in the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods.
